Fantastic overall package. The finest food with local ingredients, friendly service and a wonderful hike (tip: over the Iron Bridge on the Partnach Gorge and Eckbauer).

I really need my 5 stars here ;-) Well, if you haven't been there, you've missed something. Location and food great. And Augustiner beer.

Very nice and very tasty catering in Germany's highest church village - absolutely to be recommended! Easily accessible e.g. as part of a circular hike from the Eckbauer (mountain station) and back to the Kainzenbad. Driving not recommended: the village is tiny. Please move.

Beautiful terrace, delicious food and great service. Everything is very familiar and nice. People like to come here.

A visit here is always one of the highlights of our vacation in Werdenfelser Land. Even the driveway on the narrow road provides a thrill. Then the picturesque, unadulterated townscape of Wamberg, which has not yet been spoiled by new housing developments, with church and cemetery. Above that is the hospitable village inn. A seat on the wonderful panorama terrace gives you a dreamy view over the surrounding meadows over to the Albspitz and Zugspitze. The menu is regional, the dishes tasty and plentiful, the staff and the owner family friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Berggasthof Wamberg is the ideal place to find yourself and to regenerate.

The food is good, only if all tables are occupied you have to wait a very long time. Order food (!) Over half an hour! Then eat another hour.

Were at the Eckbauer yesterday and stopped in Wamberg. The best Kaiserschmarrn in the area. Many thanks for the milk cup. Super friendly owner, just great.

You sit very nicely on the terrace, the service is nice and the food tastes good. What more could you want on a hike?

The food was very tasty. There were cute sheep next door, which you could also find on the plate as delicious sausages. It was really great!

Very nice mountain inn, good location on the ascent / descent from Garmisch to the Eckbauer. And the good food is worth a rest! Excellent schnitzel, great boiled beef from organic beef, great! With good beer, you can linger here. If in doubt, better reserve.

Came here on a hike and took a break. Great atmosphere, nice view and very nice service. You would love to come back there.

We have been coming here every now and then for hiking, whether in winter or summer, it is always a great destination! The service is always very friendly and the food tastes very good! Definitely try the Kaiserschmarren! We will keep coming back in the next few years!

An atmospheric place away from the city noise. It is worth taking a walk on foot from Ga-Pa.
